Historicaly, the 73rd Highlanders have fought alongside their bretheren in the 42nd as both part of the Black Watch, and as its own seperate regiment in every major conflict Brittian has been involved in since the Napoleonic Wars. The 73rd Highlanders Of Foot were originaly based out of McLoed region of Scottland, raised in dire times of emergency or war, such as rebellion, and threat of invasion, and usualy disbanded after the conflict was resolved. In the 1800's, The 73rd was raised out of the provinces of Canada, as well as Scottland.
