In order to maximize cylinder life and performance, it is important that it is installed and run correctly.
Be sure to lubricate the piston and cylinder bore with 2-stroke oil before mounting, to prevent the heat type before starting the lubrication.
Also make sure you avoid harsh stress, such as long uphill slopes, and never drive over 3/4 gas the first 500km after you have installed a new cylinder, or changed the piston.
