The 5307th/1stPTG are an Infantry/tank unit that plays Darkest Hour.

Merrill’s Marauders (named after Frank Merrill) or Unit Galahad, officially named the 5307th Composite Unit (Provisional), was a United States Army long range penetration special operations jungle warfare unit, which fought in the South-East Asian theatre of World War II, or CBI. The unit became famous for its deep-penetration missions behind Japanese lines, often engaging Japanese forces superior in number.
The 1st PTG is the tank detachment for the 5307th. They were a mix unit of American/Chinese tankers that fought throughout Asia against the Japanese. They even fought with Merrill's Marauders (the 5307th).
