Happy Dota Sunday Woot! I hope everyone is excited about today as we are here at 4States. Not only do we have the regular sunday Royal, featuring the amazing amazonian all girl team who will be punching on for glory, Mini games like Mirana Dodgeball and Fat man hook, team matches for all levels and coaching games for newcomers But 4states will also be casting the Defence of the Aussies Tournament strait after the Royal… so much Dota2 !!!

Well I think we all agree that last Sunday’s Noob Royal was quite possibly a defining moment in the history of mankind….So we’re doing it again and every sunday if possible.

We had great feedback, all involved had a bunch of fun and many of the players really enjoyed being broadcast to the world. And Dam we enjoyed commentating it! We also realised that this was a great chance to develop our Gaming community here in Australia and New Zealand.

We really enjoyed teaming up with ZLB (zombies love bacon) and there is even word that members of Southern Cross Casting might join in on the fun. We also had a great time casting an almost all Lady mega team, which featured a newbie on mirana who played better than I ever could...sigh.

So we realised that Sunday afternoon is Dota2 arvo-noon and we want everyone to get involved. We’re open to any ideas, so just hit us up. If you want to give your team a run, or set up a grudge match against your evil twin that will be broadcasted and commentated or maybe just want to try Dota2 for the first time in our Newbs and Coaches games…. SUNDAY IS DOTA2-DAY.

We're having some fun and putting together a BATTLE OF THE NOOBS! It's a 5 VS 5 Lobby match consisting of 10 players who have NEVER played Dota before.

This has been hush hush but we're putting the call out now, the gaming community ZLB will be providing 5 players and we want 5 more who've never played Dota to go up against them.

Think of this as a social experiment, but incredibly entertaining. This is how it'll go:
We're pitting 10 absolute NOOBS against each other and throwing them into a game that they have no idea how to play and letting them run wild, anything goes. 4States will be there all the while providing insight into their good plays and their insanity.
After the first match has run its course and both teams realise how far in the deep end they are, we'll set them both up with an experienced coach who will help them with lane setup, item choice and everything you need to know to play a half-decent game of Dota.

We'll then repeat the match and see the result!
We'll have eyes on each of the teams, having one player from each team record their experience and everyones chat, as well as the commentators who will stream each game LIVE to our Twitch channels.

If you have anyone who has never played Dota and would like to check it out, send them our way and we'll put together a team of the noobest NOOBS you've ever seen. They must genuinely have NEVER played Dota before, other MOBA's are accepted like LoL and HoN but they cannot have played Dota 1 or 2.

The matches will commence at 8pm on Sunday evening!!!
