3rd Texas Cavalry Community Group - Public

This group is dedicated to family, friends and members of the 3rd Texas Cavalry Regiment in the Mount & Blade North & South Mod. This group is completely open to the public and we encourage you to invite your friends! Keep an eye out on our event list and our announcements, as the 3rd Texas participates in several events, hosted by the DA, throughout the week!

The 3rd Texas Cavalry hosts an openly accessible server for both public players, and unit members, at all times of the day. We do have access to several private servers, in which our members participate in a myriad of events hosted by other units, though unit membership is required prior to participation in these events. Some of the important events that we participate in on a regular basis are as follows:

- Historical Line Battles
- Historical Siege Battles
- School of the Soldier
- Civil War or War Between the States training seminar

Once again, these events are strictly for members of the 3rd Texas Cavalry but that does not preclude anyone from participating in any of these events under the command of the 3rd Texas Cavalry, providing you have been given permission to do so.

3rd Texas troopers strive to provide a realistic chain of command and Army structure in order to facilitate "historical" authenticity to the time period. Every one of our members started as troopers and that rule will carry forth till either the disbandment of the unit or the end of the war! No "if”, “and" or "buts."

We do have a public TeamSpeak server that is utilized by 3rd Texas troopers to aid communication on the battlefield but this TeamSpeak is solely for unit members and any potential recruits we may receive. If you are interested in speaking with using voice chat, please message a unit member and the information will be provided.

We are extremely excited to be apart of this amazing community of Civil War enthusiasts, and we look forward to helping grow this phenomenal game with YOU by our side!
