An Invitation to help us test a NEW weapon for TF2.

This weekend we are going to need your help to test the implementation of a new weapon for TF2. Our resident TF2 coder Pawn has been working on this feverishly for the last few months and was really distraught when Valve broke it last week. He has a temporary fix for it so we really want to get it tested while its working. We dont want to get into much detail about it right now or it will ruin the surprise so you are going to have to join us and see for yourself.

*The Game Server will be pass-worded and the word will only be given to the first 32 people in TeamSpeak prior to the event.
*By participating in this event, you will be asked to give feedback in regards to bugs you noticed, improvements, game types that would work for it and which classes would benefit from it.

There are currently 4 maps Pawn has prepared that let this science escape. You will be given a link to the maps in TeamSpeak as well.

MAIN TEST: Friday May 7th at 7:00 PM PST
Second Test: Sunday May 9th at 4:00 PM PST

The last few updates for TF2 have broken the extension that Accelerated and Party Time use to modify our weapons - that is why we have vanilla weapons right now. The extension is broken because Valve is now actively preventing us from customizing equipment on our servers.

We are now severely limited in what we can modify with the weapons. Some abilities, like +2% uber per hit, can be duplicated with a new Sourcemod plugin, but some of the other abilities cannot be recreated, like increased clip size.

The updates have also disabled a few existing and future plugins. For example, I was working on a plugin that gave boxing gloves (or rocket launchers) to everyone during sudden death, regardless of class - this is now impossible because of the changes Valve made.
