3DMAX was a French eSports organization that, before their dissolution, hosted the services of the Finnish team previously known as ENCORE. In addition to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, they competed in games such as Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source and Dota 2.


3DMAX first took off in early 2010. At the time Jean "SAM7" Moral and INFY, both staff members of the eSport team BURNING!, they together decide to embark on the construction of a new multigaming team. With their experience from BURNING!, they decided to recruit a Counter-Strike 1.6 team. Reinforcing with a DOTA and Poker team. After growing with two new teams both SAM7 and INFY started to seek trustworthy people to the staff section. At that a team with good staff caught the eye of 3DMAX leaders, and so the first fusion was saddled with "InMemoriam". With the first fusion 3DMAX could add Yanno (former President of InMemoriam), Flame (Webmaster) and RORO (vice-president). They also added a new game to their game roster, Day of Defeat: Source.

The 3DMAX organisation grew day by day and a major milestone was when they got "Winamax" as their main sponsor. They also added a few more sponsors like Razer, Gunnar and gamekeys4u.
