The 101st MEU(SOC) was established in 2017, by a group of gamers who had originally wanted to experience the realities of milsim in Arma III, without the community pressure from more official milsim groups (like the 15th MEU). However, overtime, some of us had believed that the 101st MEU can be bigger and expanded to those who would wish to join the fledgling, new community. We are the 101st MEU and our motto is "Simplicity at is finest", and we want to make sure it stays like that.

As a new MEU, we are open to both recruits and veterans alike, to help both us and the community understand the interests of milsim. As such, we are open to a variety of roles for players to enlist in; roles such as:

Rifleman (Standard Infantry)
Automatic Rifleman Team
Anti-Tank/Anti-Air Team
Grenadier
Marksman/Sniper
Combat Engineer
Corpsman
Logistic Support
Light/Heavy Armored Support
Recon Unit Support
Artillery/Mortar Support
CAS Support
Military Police
NCOs, SNCOs (Staff Member)

As we are a new breed of a mil-sim like group, please feel free to comment and give suggestions. Even if you do not join, it will help us in the long run.

Our Requirements to Join:

Must be 17+ years of age to join.
Must have Arma III (No DLCs required but it is recommended.)
Must own a microphone and be able to speak English.
Must be willing to follow orders, yet question them when needed.


As we are also a community group, sometimes we would also play on community servers (whether that is Arma 3 Life, King of the Hill, Zeus, or whatever, we will be there.) If you join, you are more than welcome to join with us.


We usually operate our schedule during summer and winter seasons (in order to compensate people's school or work.) As such, we will always try out best to fit our schedule for you (we try out best to be as flexible as possible.)
