That could be handled by changing his base melee dmg and theres a prescedent with torb/reindhart (I think winstons is diffrent too if at least when hes transformed of course ults would include genji there too).

Give him a passive where he gets a dmg ramp up for switching between attacks (dash and melee vs guns) sort of like the one zero passive in borderlands 2 and boom the gameplays simlar too(albeit a round about way of including style system and melee dmg).

Kinda wish it (melee dmg) was diffrent across the board particularly for staffmercy/genji/reaper.

Genji is also a far cry from how Dante would work. A playstyle that fits him would break the game (think Bayonetta in Smash before the nerf).

As a non game breaker its pretty accurate.

We have whatever gun fire (yeah its shurikens but that could be skinned tbh) we have a block reflect (royal gaurd the most powerful style) . then we have a "stinger" which is a melee dmg dash which he has, he has wall jumping (and running/air jumping ie trickster) and his ultimate is his triangle/melee + trigger form.

Other then the projectile thing it wouldnt be hard to make a dante style skin if for whatever reason they wanted to prob could get around that by makeing it a singular pistol and have the "charged attack" look to it (its 2-3 depending on the game when its present so its not far off).

Heck if you wanted to make a charcter behave like that in overwatch it really wouldnt be that hard even as a non skin just port over the tracer guns to genjis and change up the animations.

Its actualy kinda a shame they didnt go thru with the whole mmo thing otherwise if these are the assets it wouldnt have been that hard to make a dante and would be the closest to an online dmc you could prob get (minus the never released last online,blood borne or jedi knights 2)

She might be fun but I generaly dont like stealth charcters that use a cloak instead of relying on speed/agility.

Its better mechnicaly but worse in every other aspect then 1 (not that its a bad game)
1 everthing fits togther like jigsaw pieces even if you cant see it at first...until you get to the last 25% of the game where they ran out of budget.

dks3 dosent understand darksouls or bloodborne and tries to just smash them togther (gameplay wise).Thats why you can roll 23 times for constant i frames (bloodborne has massive start and end frames on dashes and darksouls 1-2 + demons you cant roll forever) but it looks cool in a very "anime" way.

Of course most of that only becomes apparent at "higher levels" and mainly in pvp so its not a terrible start either.
