This is a request to become a mod or admin of FRC for reasons that were discussed briefly between Illic and myself in this thread ( http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/groups/-FRC-/discussions/0/154643720194732937/ ), which also contains the catalyst for my decision to make this request.

This is something I've joked about in the past, but due to the recent changes in joining policy and the attitude of some of the new members we've gained, I've decided to make a serious attempt. I've never been one to criticize the current group staff for inaction or inattentiveness in the past, however I've always thought the group itself was usually well-mannered and well-meaning enough that any such criticisms were unnecessary. I believe the group is currently facing a crisis and is at a serious risk of losing its identity as well as alienating some of its long standing members. For this reason I believe that some new staff, willing to take fair and impartial actions when necessary, without hesitating due to fear of criticism or accusations of abuse, are needed to maintain the more friendly and open enviroment that currently differentiates FRC from FF, else we risk simply becoming a carbon copy of them and forcing some of our less aggressive members to leave.

I realize that I have sparked conflict in the past due to my near absolutist views on freedom of speech and expression, as well as my belief in ethical universalism. And I admit that I will continue to engage in debates on those subjects at times in the future. However I would point out that I have and will continue, (to the best of my ability) to try and maintain a level of civility and impartiality when doing so, and that some of those beliefs contribute to my ability to make fair and impartial judgments of the actions of others. And I would ask that for these reasons, for good or ill, that you take your time to consider this request and the possible positive or negative ramifications of it.

Regardless of your decision, I thank you, both for considering this request and for reading this far.

I have been in each of these forum groups, I have seen what you have done in them. So I do have major first hand experience under your rule in each of these groups, except for FR and the original IMMO so I have had experience in your company for a long time and all of what you say is true I think. I am surprised by why you are signing up though, I thought you disliked/hated FRC, so why would you want to be a moderator here and help it? Also I do have respect for you, I have been around you for a while so I know you fairly well enough.
