Depends on who you are playing against. Very viable strategy in ctf servers for one since people will be afraid of your sentry unless they're an engie counter. Most will think it's still there while you destroy it and start rebuilding. And ctf is so camp-ish due to teams being split to either attack or defense, they never focus into all attack usually.

Unless it's 2fort, you build a lv3 at lts planned spot in 5 seconds: right outside spawn

Still I(most people)will destroy a lv2-3 for a few crit off a 3 clip shotgun, it's not op what so ever cause of its tiny clipsize, you won't be able to be agressive with 3 crits

Diamondback on the other hand, makes you the best flag carrier if you have crits for no one can stop you

And I think I said only battle engie can use fj too, because (second time) nobody would destroy a lv3 for a few crits

It's much easier to get a sentry kill than a backstab if the enemy team is compotent. You actively need to do things to get the backstab. With a sentry, you sit and wait.

still it's a shotgun with crits, not a pistol with crits. A crit shotgun can do what again, like 270 or something like that. If you're fighting bad players the frontier is still a straight upgrade because they'll feed crit after crit. I've gotten up to 40 on my person at one given point.

Everybody equip fj now it's not situational at all and you can easily get the crits, just destroy your sentry
