The Stickybomb Launcher still needs a nerf imo.

But stickies are your primary. They're an infinitely more reliable form of damage if your opponents aren't running in straight lines.

Pipes are to Demo what the Shotgun is to Soldier. They're used when you have no time to reload, when you're too close for your primary, and when you've knocked someone into the air (or when you've cut off their movement with stickies). The main difference is that you don't need your Shotgun as Soldier, the Rocket Launcher is strong enough and direct enough that Gunboats or even a banner can be run. Demo doesn't have that luxury by the nature of stickies.

The traps aren't what make it OP but the stickyspam is. Like, you can run both quickiebomb launcher and stickybomb launcher and the results are the same. Both have more clip than all the grenade launchers, both deal alot of devastating damage, there's no reason not to nerf this weapon this summer update.
You need both traps and "stickyspam" situationally, the results absolutely are not the same with the quickiebomb launcher.

It doesn't need further nerfing. He's supposed to be the damage-dealer, and yet he already struggles to be the top damager after the last nerf.

Nerfing his main method of damage just encourages hiding behind traps all game as the way to play Demo, which is infinitely more boring and mindless than "stickyspam" will ever be.

The firing speed fires almost at the same speed of the detonation time. Seriously, throw one and detonate the previous, and this cycle proceeds for 6-8 seconds with a base damage 33% more than the rocket launcher's.
Detting after every sticky only works if every sticky is hitting, and they usually aren't if you can't read minds and your opponents can WASD.
Why isn't the Grenade Launcher a secondary then? That would make more sense.

By "same results" I mean stickyspamming. Stickyspamming with both deals same if not very somewhat-identical results.

The most amount of DPS you can do as demo is laying down 14 crit stickies from the SR and detonating them all at once. They have to be inside each other, if not very near each other, kind of like a tiny circle. That's the highest damage you can deal asides from backstabs from what I know.
