The few still being very much worth buying a console for, to many gamers. Sony and Nintendo have plenty of good recent exclusives.

So exactly what I said, games you have to hunt the physical copies for and no longer supported. We don't have Master Chief collection on PC yet, and it's been already two years.

What does Sony have? Uncharted and Bloodborne?

Except that you can simply order Halo 1 on Amazon and download Halo 2. You know nothing of what you're talking about.

If there's a service where you can buy and download a digital copy of Halo 2, I take it back. But Halo 1, as you agree, isn't available or supported on any PC digital store, there is no Halo 3, Halo 4 or the spinoff Halo games on PC either. You're literally talking about two games as if it was the entire series.

I also love that you ignored all the PC exclusives I listed which I personally think are better than any console exclusive I've played.

Your personal opinion on what you want isn't a concern of mines. Point is there are perfectly good games that will never be on PC, whether you personally want them or not. Most people can name at least a handful of console only games they'd love to have on PC.

Every platform can name "exclusives" to their advantage. PC isn't the only one. PC can claim to have the most "exclusives", but when 99% of it is garbage, it's not a very good claim. What good is Kimulator 2016 to someone who absolutely loves Mario Kart? You're literally equating the two.

If someone really want to play the next Final Fantasy or Hideo Kojima game, yes it is. And 99% of those exclusives on PC aren't necessarily going to cut it. Bloodborne is almost never coming to PC, that's a perfectly good reason to buy a PS if you want to play it.

And yes, it can go both ways too. Console gamers will never get to play Dota 2 or League of Legends, without a PC.

If someone really wants to play a classic PC game they somehow just can't play through DOSBox, virtual machines, or the like, they are perfectly fine to prefer the "old computer" to play videogames. And yes, it would count as a negative for the "newer" machine if it can't run legacy software going that far back.
It doesn't matter what a specific person wants in terms of which is better. PC is obviously superior in the exclusives department due to a MUCH higher amount of exclusives.

Quality =/= Quantity.

Sony makes deals to secure good games on their platform. You could put out any piece of shit just on the PC, and call it a PC exclusive. To be frank, just look at Steam Greenlight.

Just because not everyone has a game they want to come to PC, don't mean it's not a positive. Otherwise you might as well claim mods aren't an advantage for the PC, because not everyone is into modding. Or free multiplayer, or to be able to use any controller... the list goes on.

If The Last of Us, the Halo games, the Uncharted or God of War series came to PC, people would buy those games in droves. They aren't exactly sectional interests.
