Platform exclusives are an advantage to any system that has them. Your earlier posts suggested this advantage should only be with PC, which makes no sense.

I'm glad we're reaching an agreement that the ratio of good and bad PC exclusives is weighing heavily on bad. It's not too say there aren't many good ones, but the barriers to making a game and putting it on Steam is far lower than getting a game to console. The argument that PC has more exclusives should always come with a big "but" disclaimer.

Consoles lose in terms of exclusives, because they have so few of them, let alone good ones. While PC does have a lot of shitty exclusives, they have the most games, a lot of which are genre-defining and innovative. Consoles used to have innovative exclusives, but not anymore.

They may not be as numerous, but they're still mainstream and hugely popular, and in many cases we simply don't have a PC near-equivalent. The only way we could dismiss console exclusives is by totally arbitrary standards. Most games aren't innovative anyway, nor are "innovative" games necessarily good.

PC gaming would absolutely benefit from console exclusives coming over, likewise for consoles. I'd happily trade over thousands of the trash on PC for even a handful of console exclusives. Most people would too, if they could.
