Come to think of it, though, Mercy (with a good team, that is) can be extremely relaxing. If you get caught out as a Supp, either your team died and you failed to realize that and, well, died, or your team MAJORLY fucked up. (Obviously, this ensues proper communication, but hey, if you play Ranked and don't have a mic and pick Mercy, God have "Mercy" upon thine soul).

On the other hand, as Medic, you have to be aware of EVERYTHING. I play Medic in TF2 because I like the control he gives me upon the battlefield, but I have to keep so much shit in my head that it's nearly impossible to play him with randoms. I still try to orchestrate my team.

Basically, where I'm going with this, is YOU DON'T NEED WEAPONS ON SUPP. You're not gonna be FIGHTING in the first place (Hell, even the Crusader's Crossbow is used as a tool, not a weapon, most of the time).

TL;DR Medic is harder and more challenging than Mercy, but more rewarding.
Mercy is a more, well, relaxing and fun hero.
