Oi. I did what I said I would. Put these up if you think they're good.

---

XCOM 2 - A sequel worthy of praise. Captures the oldschool XCOM tactical feel while completely turning around the setting and building up to be its own game.

Bastion - Supergiant's legendary first, where your every step is narrated, the OST is godly, the artstyle is eye candy and gameplay rocks. Cheap as dirt on sales.

Transistor - Supergiant took the recipe to Bastion, added cyberpunk, changed up the gameplay and then turned the atmosphere up to eleven. OST is again godly.

Wolfenstein: The New Order - Oldschool shooting that's even more self-aware than /tg/. Pure shooter gameplay that's actually hard, solid level design and quality time waster.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada - Top of the line for tabletop WH40k and RTS fans. Solid DLC model, looks great and plays unlike anything I've seen to date. Occasional balance issues.

Darkest Dungeon - Turn-based strategy for the more hardcore. Heavy atmosphere, brutal difficulty and a wide variety of strategic options make for brilliant gameplay.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter - A heavily atmospheric and absolutely brilliant walking simulator/puzzle. Redux version looks stunning. Worth it on sales if you're into this stuff.

Mirror's Edge - Fun, fast paced and direct. Relatively short for what it is, but features some truly great level design and there's nothing like it on the market.

Life is Strange - Guaranteed to make you tear up. You choices have impact, the characters are unforgettable, and the story is told extremely well. Episode 1 is free, too.

Invisible, Inc. - Niche fix for turn-based fans. Mechanics are simple, but the sheer amount of options, equipment and situations will grab you and won't let go.

Metro 2033 Redux - The original made better. Tells a very personal story and features gameplay so hardcore it serves to reinforce the already great atmosphere.

Metro: Last Light Redux - A more shooty and streamlined sequel to 2033. Not as good a story as the original's, but more accessible, with bigger arsenal, and prettier visually.
