I'll reply to you on this.

While we have treated domesticated animals in what may seem horrible when judged in the same perspective, lets just focus on dogs here.

Dogs and humans have been working togther for ages, be it hunting down game together to share food as bros to sniffing out bombs and cancer.

The reason why dogs are treated in certain ways that may seem horrible, it is actually for their benefit. Both species benefit from one another if the follow actions are done right. By the dog working with the human, whether being a guard dog, a pet or anything else, the dog will have to be taken care of to be of use. So while they help us humans in certain tasks like companionship or war, they in return get taken care of and get the needs they desire for survival easily, many that would be a luxury to dogs living only in the wild such as having themselves checked on by doctors, fed well, given shelter, love, a safe place to breed, water and many others in qaulity, quantity and easy access that they only have because they are our companions and we give each other a little bit of both to help each outher out.
A similar case could be made for human slavery. Not pre-Civil War African-American slavery of course, but some earlier instances. Ancient Rome, for example. Having steady work, sometimes even as a skilled professional, being taken care of and provided for with food and medical care well above what their means might otherwise have been. Of course they had a lower class of slaves as well, some of whom worked in the sex industry as prostitutes.
By doing this, the dog is living the life that wild dogs would find a luxury, like a job in a way, an amazing job. However, other things we could do to them such as fucking them becomes unacceptable. Fucking a dog could prove hazaderous to it's health, could also bring diseases to both the dog and human and may be against the dog's will, which is violating it and harming it physically an dmentally which is not a benefit that a dog should give to its companion as an exchange. It is painful and harmful and no one knows if they consent or not, we would never know as we still don't understand the thinking of a dog fully and likely never will. So yes, fucking a dog is not part of the exchange of benefits both species would give to one another, and is mentally wrong and physically dangarous for both species to do, there is a natural drive in us to mate with our own kind to reproduce and not with other animals, hence why such things are naturally wrong and feel wrong. It is wrong overall and harms both species and should not be an agreement in exchange of luxuries of both species, done.
So long as sized are similar, there don't appear to be health hazards from what little research I've done. Nor are there any diseases that can cross species from dog<>human. Of course there'e bacteria, but that can be an issue with human/human intercourse as well (especially with sodomy).

My only real issue with your reply here is this line:

First: I'm coming to believe that it is indeed mentally damaging to a dog, so, agreed on the mentally damaging part.

Second: I'm not really seeing any physical danger beyond what you'd have in a human relationship. Use some lube if necessary and no one should get hurt.

Third: This is the big one. Paraphrasing: "Naturally wrong because it can't lead to reproduction" This is an argument that's been used against gays quite a bit, and I don't like hearing it here and more than I like hearing it there. Sex is about more than just procreation.
The fact that you're defending dog fucking makes me want to denounce my genetics as a gay man, become a baptist, and beat women.
