"Notice: You are leaving Steam."
There's always seems to be another Steam page that reminds you that the link you click on is not from a Steam site whether it's leads to an article, an imgur picture or even a full direct image of a Steam screenshot/artwork.

This is sort of one of my minor problems with Steam; it's annoying and should have an option to turn it off or turn it into a mini window.

Yes

It's the extra time it adds to load the page that's completely pointless

It's there to safeguard you from malicious links, why would you want to get rid of it?

Yeah, what a waste of 4 seconds of your life.
Probably never gonna get that back, damn.

I won't.

Time is literally the one resource you can never get back.

Because malicious links are already removed from any post.

Fair enough.

Agreed so much. I can understand the warning being there to remind people that it could potentionally be dangerous, but there should be an optino to turn it off. I have common sense and don't click on suspicious links.

True.
It doesn't open a browser for you?

That only happens on the steam computer app

Because I'm not an idiot. I'm not trying to be an arrogant but I don't need constant safeguard on websites that I already went to hundreds of times. Perhaps some kind of whitelist is what I want.
