The lack of mobility in upcoming class-based FPS
As of now, there are three upcoming class-based FPSes, Overwatch, Battleborn, and Lawbreakers. Out of the three, only Lawbreakers place heavy emphasis on movement skills.

Is it just me, or are they kinda missing an avenue for more skill-based play?

Meh, I've never really cared for mobility as a skill in games anyway.
Lets look at Tf2`s main mobility based class. Scout. Imagine someone as the equivalent of the scout in those games.
What the fuck is Lawbreakers?

But yeah, as a whole it's a bit of a let-down. Shooters as a whole seem to be moving away from the very mobile fragfest style of older FPS in favor of strategic teamplay. TF2 is the happy medium in many ways.
Not those, I was thinking of sonething more skill-based, takes time to master, fast-paced and not limited by cooldown. So pretty much no one in OW has that except maybe Junkrat.
Btw Lawbreakers Lawbreakers rocket jumping grappling hooks jetpack flying OMG OMG

Soldier and Demoman deserve that title more than Scout.

Agreed.
And Pyro on some occasions.

Pyro's more of an anti-mobility class along with engineer, heavy and sniper.

With "Lucky" airblasts, Pyro can be mobile, like rocket/pill/sticky jumping, but harder. And is generally more toll-taking.
Engineer, Wrangler, not too mobile, though.

That's why I stick to TF2.

Why no movement? Why?

Heavy is the most mobile class.

Skill-based movement ability, like RJ, bhop, air strafe...

I know, why don't they add that?

I really, really like movement based games. Eg. Dishonored and Halo.
