Any of PAPike's rants on F2Ps.
Even though you lot should know this by now, gonna ♥♥♥♥ing tell you why Solly is statistically better than the others.
He has some insane damage, insane knockback, lots of health, and some of the best mobility in the game.

Damage output
The rocket launcher is ♥♥♥♥ing insane.

This thing has a base damage of 90. That's already a ♥♥♥♥ing lot, killing most classes in 2 hits, but it also is an explosive(obviously). This meaning it has splash damage, so you don't even need to hit your target. You just gotta hit near them.

Close range this thing does 105-112. Holy ♥♥♥♥.
Medium; 50-90

That is a lot of damage, and very good DPS for one class to do with only one weapon. With his one weapon, he can do this.
And he has 4 rockets.
With an attack interval of 0.8.

Seems fair.

Also, his knockback. If you've ever played TF2, you've seen how much knockback a soldiers rocket does. It's a ♥♥♥♥ing lot. You're getting thrown all over the place. So not only are you going to have trouble aiming now, you're also still getting major damage from Soldier.
This is even encouraged by Valve on the Direct Hit, giving you mini-crits for shooting airboune enemies(If they're knockbacked by explosives).

His shotgun is the stock shotgun, not a big problem.
Except it's on this guy. This means this guy has an insanely powerful primary already, and a shotgun, which is obviously incredible at CQC, so that he won't splash damage himself.

It's hitscan.

This isn't a very big deal, the shotgun, but he also has a very good hitscan weapon and an insanely powerful primary. He's excels at everything but long range, which isn't needed on most maps.

Melees don't matter, they're mostly reasonable, except the pain train.

Health
So lets just quickly go over something.

Really ♥♥♥♥a? Not to mention with one of his secondaries it gets even bigger.

Rocket Jumping
Again, lets look at what we have.
Insane damage, lots of health, what else is needed?
Oh, right, lets give him the best mobility in the game.

Rocket jumping.
Rocket jumping allows you to aim a rocket at your own feet to launch yourself to where ever you please.
This is some insane mobility, often matching or surpassing Scout with its speed.

"oi but fishy it does damage m90"
It does very little. If you didn't notice, Soldier has a 40% damage resistance to any rocket he shoots that doesn't damage an enemy. Meaning this weapon with a base of 90 goes down to doing only 27-46.
I'll cut that down to 32 to make it sorta in the middle, but listen here.

Soldier wants ot get to the point. Decides to rocket jump. Assuming he's using stock and not Lib or rocket jumper, he'd do around 32 damage to himself.
Say he needs to use all 4 rockets.
Those 4 rockets would only do 128 damage, leaving him with around 72 health.
If he's not new to the game, he knows where health packs are, allowing him to but his health right back up to 200.

This means the guy with the insanely powerful primary just got to the point in a few seconds with little to no health lost.

Oh right, and the Pain Train.
You know what I just showed about how quickly and easily they get to the point? Well now they have a melee so they also cap it quickly.
Meaning RED just got the mid point right as the round starts.

Weapons
Ya m8. Going over almost every single one.

Primaries:
Stock: Already went over this.

Direct Hit: Lets make the rockets move even faster and do more damage! The only problem? Now they have to aim!
You mean like we've been doing with literally every other class? Yep, seems balanced.

Black Box: Do I even need to?
After Gun Mettle: Balanced.

Rocket Jumper: Yep, I'm saying this weapon is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Get half good at rocket jumping, put on the market gardener, ta-da, now you're critting everyone. k.
Though, this is mostly a meh point.
It's FAR more annoying than ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Cow Mangler:This thing is honestly mostly fair. Just shouldn't shoot through walls.

Beggar's: Do I even need to?

Air Strike: Honestly, this thing is a little underpowered.
After Gun Mettle: Balanced.

Lib: If anything UP, but I really like it.
After Gun Mettle: Balanced.

Secondaries:
Buff Banner: Mostly fair. Takes 600 damage to fully charge.

Gun boats: Oh ♥♥♥♥ing boy. Remember what I said about rocket jumping? Now take what I said there, but make it do even less damage.
Okay.
Seems good, 10/10 is fair.

Battalion's Backup: More health? Now they get 220 health.
Resistance to literally everything? Yep. 50% resistance to Sentries, immune to Crits and Mini-crits, and 35% resistance to everything else.
Good luck getting the point.
Only takes 600 damage to charge, for resistance to everything. And that resistance matters, and is enough to stop plenty.

Conch: Health regen on ♥♥♥♥ing Soldier? Really?
Oh, and they get to move even faster. And health from damage done.
Good luck getting the point.
Also, only takes 480 damage to fully charge it. One heavy and it's almost done.

Reserve Shooter: Not sure you'll hit them with a rocket after you just did ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ knockback on them? Pull out a hitscan weapon that mini-crits them!

Mantreads: Honestly, could use a little buff.

Bison, B.A.S.E, and Panic Attack: All are fair, to be quite honest. Panic Attack is fun as ♥♥♥♥ though.

Melees:

Stock: Fair.

Equalizer: Low on health? Well go ahead and do a ♥♥♥♥ ton of damage! Because why should skill be the deciding factor in the fight?
After Gun Mettle: Now it gives super easy uber. Along with the other stuff.

Pain train: already went over it before.

Escape Plan: Kinda fair, honestly.

Half-Zatoichi: Low on health? Not even low on health? Well go ahead, regen it all back because you got one kill! Super easy for you as well, considering you're already doing 100 damage with your primary, leaving most classes close enough dead for you to kill them with this in one hit!
Fun!

Disciplinary Action: Kinda fair. Other than making him even faster, kinda fair.

Market Gardener: Already went over it in rocket jumping. Get half decent at rocket jumping, now go insta kill everyone.
Though, again, this is more of a meh point.

Another thing
This is taken outta the comments, what I said:
It's ♥♥♥♥ing weird. They make a bunch of classes with an obvious purpose.

Scout: Getting the intel, being quick, taking out medic real quick
Pyro: Area denial, dealing with projectiles, spy checking.
Demo: Stickybomb denial, taking out sentries, quick damage.
Heavy: Holding down a point, being a big target, intimidation.
Engi: Area denial, defense, the lot.
Medic: What ♥♥♥♥ing else?
Sniper: Taking out big targets from a distance
Spy: Taking out big targets, taking out engis.

That seems alright, but then we look at Soldier who was obviously made to do all of these, just not as good. But he doesn't. He does them all the same or even better.

Soldier is quick as ♥♥♥♥ with rocket jumping, he's amazing at getting the intel, he easily kills everyone and defends an area.
He also takes out sentries, quick damage, he easily holds a point, and defends anywhere easily.
He even ♥♥♥♥ing heals with the conch for a push.
And he easily takes out big targets with his 100 damage weapon.

The jack of all trades is a master of all trades.

Also, this. I don't even know if he really was in comp and all, but it's so true.
