Actually, no.
It's an interesting space simulator.
Yahtzee approved that it's fun and didn't point out any crippling flaws, so...

Old Goonswarm vet reporting in.

Definetly get it only if you have enough time to donate for this(and money)

The playera create their own story. The amount of drama in this game is amazing. You will need to get a good job to suatain yourself(ingame as well as IRL). I am currently an assassistant administrator of one of Goonswarm's major systems.

One of the best PVP games in the world and definetly not for casuals.

I know the game but haven't played it personally.
It's an interesting game yet has some flaws.
If you like that kind of game then go for it, I'm sure you'll have good time while playing it, although it's not that good of a game.
