I've always been a fan of melee weapons. Easier to aim (im bad) and usually can get pretty fun and intense in close range fights. Other then that, I've always liked Uberbeam-like support "weapons".

They're lethal at close range, that's what I like about them.

I prefer capping two enemies at once with two deagles.
Sniping with iron sights is what I find the most satisfying.

Chainsaw seems over-rated in my opinion. It's load, consumes a lot of gasoline, and you need to get so close to the enemy.
