Adressing the Pyrofish "drama" and problems in this group
Yes, I'm aware that this group is not meant for drama but since this has escalated way too much I feel like I need to point out a few things. I thought about making this thread a week ago but I decided to hold back, but now these things just need to be said.

First off, I'm not part of this group - at all. In fact, the only reason I'm able to post discussions is because invited people can do so. And I'm not interested in joining, however I still feel like I need to adress things regarding this drama. I'm known for trolling back in 2015, actually, I was so big as a troll that people put me into same category with tonni - and my troll thread hit Reddit front page with over 80k views - and it was literally 1,5 years old thread.

At certain point I did admit that I was a troll and gave up, now I act like a normal person. From all the lurking I can tell that Pyrofish definitely hasn't done the same. The bad attitude and disrespect is still there.

When talking about people like Pyrofish who obviously still has a trollish behavior on, you have to be very strict if you let these people be part of the group; remember that the group is not meant to support that kind of behavior. This group is cleraly not for trolls. What really shocked me was the fact how many people were ready to vote Pyrofish to be a moderator. In all honesty, if you didn't see an issue with that, you're blind.

I've been talking with Evo and he was 100% ready to give Pyrofish another chance to redeem and change. I've been one of the biggest trolls on TF2 forums and Evo decided to invite me to this group. I was honest about my past and I showed that I've changed. Actions have positive effects.

And who knows; maybe there was a chance for Pyrofish to become a moderator, but instead things just escalated more when Pyrofish joined. As much as you like Pyrofish, this person is simply not good for the group's atmosphere. This is Evo's group and it's an achievement to build a community like this - where people are meant to be helpful and friendly to each other. It's understandable if he wants to protect this group at all cost. It's understandable if he is strict when it comes to former trolls.

Also, if there is endless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the group, do not blame it on moderators. Since this is an invite-only group, everyone here is more than just guests. You're all members. Please act like members. Everyone needs to be participate in making the group's atmosphere better, with all the arguing and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it just makes everything worse.

It's alright to adress the issues, but I advise everyone to take a look in the mirror and think. From my experience, the group has simply turned into ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fiesta; and (almost) every member has to change in order to make this group back to what it was originally meant to be.

Every member represents this group, not only admins and/or moderators. Instead of blaming everything on moderators, think what you could've done otherwise. Were you really helping to make this group better? Because I don't think many people can answer 'yes' to this question with a pure, honest face.

The Pyrofish drama isn't the only issue in this group. In fact, I think it's the smallest issue at the moment.

I don't think I would've ever pasted this popular bible quote anywhere (sorry atheists if offended), but I will, just to sum things up here:

Didn't really offend me, but the quote just seemed unneeded
What I mean with it is that people need to take a look in the mirror before they start to blame others. Since everyone here is more than just random guests, this is a community - it's not just moderators' fault if the discussions are filled with toxic shitposts.

She was a pain in the fucking ass on the stardew valley forums, one of the reasons why I don't go their.

Alright, let's not start any more drama her, but if I have to comment anything on Pyrofish, well, I was confused as to why people wanted her invited. From what I can tell, she hasn't exactly changed.

In regards to the members, it appears that a few members are purposely attempting to start drama, so if anything, it's more so how the members views us mods for even trying to stop drama from happening, ironically enough.

The thing is, if you look into the Regs you'll find she's not actually a bad person. That's because we get that her "insults" are in a joking manner and we go along with it and generally have a good time, it was pretty much the same here. It's just that a few people took them personally and completely over reacted, causing the flamewars, derailing ect. Some went as far as to do it in every thread she posted in.

Agreed so much. There's a reason i was against her getting into the group in the first place, she would not be fun to have around at all in a group like this.

Well, people could have fucked off with jamming "Vote for pyrofish" down people's throat and maybe it wouldn't have made everyone so pissed off.
