Battlefield 2 Being Revived As a Free Multiplayer Game

Basically, BF2 is being revived by the community since EA just abandoned it after GameSpy shutted down. So, yeah, free game or basically a roadtrip for nostalgia and some people to play with, at least for now, because TF2 Classic is as dead as it is.

So, yeah, also, there's Battlefield 2142 too, my lucky day.

Also, Battlefield 1942 for free, with all expansion packs too!

Actually, there is, it's called Keygen.exe, once you got everything downloaded, get rid of the virus and you're set to go.

If you own BF2 already, then all you need are the patches. If you don't, well, free game with expansion packs included.

I also made a thread where No Man's Sky is now free as a mod for Doom, because modders are more compentent than so-called developers.

No, it's a BF3/BF4/BFH reskin. BF1942, BF2, and BF2142 are solid in their own ways, and they're abandonware now, so it's legal to distribute them for free. Also, no viruses, don't worry.

So the whole game is free now? Cool.

I saw the NMS thread, I plan to get the mod when I inevitably get Doom.

Doom 2 for $5 + Free Mod = $55 saved

Well, the BF1942 version on 1942mods is pretty much an abandonware copy that pretty much uses its own master server for online play, so, well, my CD copy is kind of useless now.

Oh well, I can at least play the WW2 Weapons Expansion Pack, I only had the main game and Road to Rome, so, thank you people for preserving games.
