What didn't make sense, by the way? Only plot point that I thought didn't really make much sense was Pidges backstory.
>expecting it to be good
lol))
What I personally really love about the series is the setting. For all intense and purposes, the bad guy won. The Galran Empire took over 80% of the entire Universe. Emperor Zarkon is in up most control. Countless Planets have been reduced to slave camps or flat out destroyed by his forces. Team Voltron is literally the only beings who can even attempt to stand up to him. Zarkon, despite his silly name (its a reboot of a 60s show, some names are gonna be goofy) has just this...commanding presence to him.
You'll have to forgive the first episode for having a weird pace, due to the fact that they wanted to introduce the shows characters, themes and ideas in a short time and it doesn't really take its time with it. Later episodes really do take their time telling their story. I don't want to spoil anything else, but by far my favorites were " Tears of the Balmera" and "The Black Paladin", those episodes are amazing.
