That sounds like a failed opportunity for the user interface to tell the user what Steam Guard is and how to use it. Perhaps if there was at least one more button on the screen with the message for turning it on, or opening the settings window right then to the appropriate tab.

A neat feature would be to de-wrangle and take over an enemy sentry temporarily. Then its the Spy's skill rather than the sentry's 100% accurate aiming that kills the other team. Secondary fire for whatever this item is could cause a detonation or reverting to a level 1 sentry.

There are two companies behind Atlantica (NDOORS and NEXON) and you've only mentioned complaints about the great game.

You can completely beat the game and have an awesome time without spending real world money. Sure its slower but I get my enjoyment monies worth (I like it and can still get the goods legit).

One thing you might have noticed is the Atlantica community has among the nicest gaming communities its certainly one of the nicer games to look at and play(Great ogg format music in the BGSOUND folder) too. Plus I learned a bit of history and geography I wouldn't have even cared about were it not for this game.

It does seem Atlantica is the only game you've played (or own) on steam on your fresh account and over 300 hours playing it. I just find it odd for an experienced player like yourself to speak poorly about it. If you're stuck on a quest there is always a non-money way to solve it. If you give enough heads up I can join you. I don't do PVP or Guilds. I usually fly solo but will help anyone in need.

The Frequenly asked question that is still not satisfactorally answered is why they did this. And everyone is asking it more frequently than the other questions. (I get that existing ones will still be around.)

Perhaps if we knew what caused the initial converation and eventual decision to have these hats retire in the first place we could prevent further retirements(and reduce whining). While I enjoyed the creativity of them inventing this little story event and only explaining it in the context of the fictional universe of TF2, I'm sure everyone would appreciate a real world answer that applies to the actual universe.

Can you prove your mic works outside of steam?
If not then turn the on switch on (I've forgotten to do this a few times). There might even be a volume dial on the mic itself.
Also make sure you plug the mic jack(not the sound jack) into the mic port(not the sound port).
Beyond that, make sure your sound card/chipset drivers are installed properly and are up to date. Mess about with the Window's volume controls a bit until it shows activity when you're talking and near nothing when you aren't (adjust so your mic doesn't pick up your Hard-drives or case fans spinning)

Can you verifiy it works in steam chatrooms? (you and at least one other person have to dig for the menu to turn voice chat on).

If you can find any one person who can hear you in any other game (like TF2) then you have a game related setting that isn't picking up your mic. However there could be a few other things beyond your control. You may have been accidently muted by individual players or the server admin (or a script) decided to mute you across the board on their one server.


In summary, prove that the hardware works, then that steam itself is "hearing" you, then steam chatrooms(you can skip this if you want), another voice-chat enabled game, and finally the game you're having trouble with. If you still have trouble feel free to put your findings here.
