Has anyone ever been banned like this?

Hello,

Steam requires users to be at least 13 years old before they can create an account.

From the information you provided in steam community, you do not meet our age requirement. This violates our policy, so we must deactivate your account.

We will be able re-activate the account once you meet our age requirement.

This is a completely unreasonable ban. How can you say I'm under 13? I've been using this account for almost 10 years and now I want to play games on my day off and get banned for such a stupid reason.

13 is the minimum age for any online account without explicit parental consent.

Steam won't even let the account be created unless the person says they are 13. So if they are under 13 and made an account, they lied and Steam will lock the account.

Nothing And I still don't understand why I'm banned like this because I've been using Steam for over 10 years. If they were going to accuse me like that, I would have been using Steam since I was 3 years old with a credit card pay a lot money to buy csgo and dota item over 1000 usd.

This isn't a new thing. It also has nothing to do with the NSFW content.

If Steam detects and account belongs to someone under 13, they lock it. Their legally required to because of COPPA.

Unlike Microsoft and Epic did.

Reach out to support on your options to verify you are allowed to create and own the account.

Payment method doesn't matter since you can always use the credit card of someone else.

Did you rush an age gate and accidentally put a low age?

I've done that before without any issue so I don't think it was that.

I've blindly clicked "next" without changing the age.
