Sentimental, rationality takes all the joy and interest out of life imo. But both are important

I cannot say for sure, I tend to pick choices based by what seems rational to me at the moment, however, I always end up sentimental and in a remorse to some extent cause of 'what if xyz' feedback loop, it's hard to stay one or another, at least for me

well they are opposites. also, it's just what you're more of, rather than what you simply are.

i find rationality paradoxically soothing, with how anxiety and paranoia-inducing the emotive side of my mind can get.

I'd say a healthy balance of both. I can let go of most old things without regret. I have no problem throwing out old toys or clothes, no matter what memories are attached to them. I don't cry over kitten pictures or sad movie scenes. I usually remain calm in stressful situations. However, I wouldn't call myself completely rational, as I tend to perceive the world through my heart - I'm a romantic, emotional daydreamer with a strong sense of intuition and imagination

I am guided by reason, not sentiment. Emotions complicate decisions and waste time.

I would say I tend to be sentimental where rationality isn't important, and rational when it is
