There's literally no reason to resume nuclear testing. None. And I'm not at all opposed to nuclear research, energy or even weapons as strict deterrents.

"actually"... they have many reasons to test them, one being to check aged stockpiles, for safety and working order, it is after all, in this day and age, used for defensive posturing, not to mention, no reason to have them, if you arent going to make sure they are usable, or at the very least, safe as they are.
