Trump SCAM tariffs - will US refund illegally obtained money?
https://edition.cnn.com/2025/09/03/economy/trump-tariff-refund

Isn't it kind of interesting how it went from "China will pay for these" to a case where there's a chance that US government has to pay hundreds of billions of dollars to American companies it has stolen money from with illegal tariffs?

No refunds to you, however, the average consumer.
Even though you've been paying these tariffs in prices.

Because most of these tariffs appear to be illegal, I'm going to call them scam tariffs now, and each dollar that is returned is to be considered justice. It would be even better if the average consumers who were scammed by Donald Trump get compensated too.

Companies being compensated is better than nothing of course (since they were also scammed by the administration) but there should be a more coordinated effort to reverse the damage and destruction caused by the failed orange president.

This is just one of many of Trump's family and friends scams.

Piggy banking upon it is also Trump appointed insider trader Howard Lutnick doing a Tariff Rebate 20-30% scam, under his Cantor Fitzgerald company. A conflict of interest, as he's the one who created and backs all those Trump Tariffs too. He even bets on them failing.

Trump and Melania's meme coins scam both went under with a lost of 86%. So now both his sons, TrumpJR and Eric, are setting up and repeating the same scam again. Another major conflict of interest.

DOGE cuts costed the US tax payers $21.7 billion dollars for what was meant to be a saving of $2 trillion (yet was a lost instead), because it was just another scam. This time a conflict of interest for US Shadow President Elon Musk, who targets certain places to avoid fines and restrictions upon his own businesses.

They do all these scams out in the public for the entire world to see, only the MAGA Cult and US Congress seem to be utterly blind to it. Multiple are impeachable offences.

I too love big corporate hand outs my friend. Well done.
A plot worthy of a romulan
Thankfully most of those trillions of dollars the US made through tariffs only exist in Donnie's head. (Since at large he kept TACOing from implementing them)

If someone from Finland is complaining, it's good for America.

Why do you care so much, Dom?

Have there been any tariff related price hikes to refund Dom, or have the companies just been absorbing the costs?

I know Playstation 5[blog.playstation.com] prices have gone up in the U.S. by $50, but this merely seems to be a delayed adjustment after prices already went up elsewhere[blog.playstation.com] so that's not tariff related, because if it was tariff related the costs would have gone up in the U.S.A. exclusively.

I wrote a fairly lengthy post about how Sleeve Kings and their distributors chose to absorb the cost of tariffs.

I mentioned how in June C.N.N. and the New York Times wrote articles wondering what happened to all of the tariff related inflation. Oh wait, in that post I mention how the Switch 2 accessories got tariff related price hikes. Too bad for the Nintendo fans, but Nintendo might figure out a way to help those players like they did with the 3DS Ambassador program.

But also hey, look at the bright side, if the tariffs are overruled unconstitutional then the tariff apocalypse is at the very least postponed 'till congress passes a bill, if not canceled and if prices have gone up, solely because of the tariffs, prices should come back down 'cause the companies have no excuse anymore and need to be setting prices competitively, right?

Meh, probably not. They held onto those covid price hikes like a dog to a bone.

Besides, I thought consumers were paying the tariffs. So if this is the case, why would the corporations get the money?
Trump scammed us with promises of releasing Epstein files also

Missed sales due to people not buying products that became too expensive.
