I just used like six brain cells to figure that out guys, I mean come on.
From the first article linked above:
"A U.S. citizen was arrested in Florida for allegedly being in the country illegally and held for pickup by immigration authorities even after his mother showed a judge her son’s birth certificate and the judge dismissed charges. "

I mean it does, but it also says this:
False arrests happen sometimes, and not just under the Trump administration.
Data analytics show that I.C.E. incorrectly identified 2,840 U.S. citizens as illegal immigrants in the 2002 to 2017 period, with 217 of them being taken into custody.[www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org] That's 189⅓ incorrectly identified citizens and 14.46 being taken into custody per year on average.
What I find more concerning is not that citizens are occasionally being arrested. That is why we have a judiciary branch. What I find concerning is that that the arrest was made without cause, and that Trump is cutting down on due process.
Just about not being white.
I was expecting to defend ICE / Security here. I hope Dean Cain remembers the values he taught people in Superman show and takes them to his role in ICE.
1st : looks like a Crime has just been committed against the reporter.
That ICE could see she was a reporter and aimed to hit her.
2nd : 37 seconds in, he gets attacked from behind and I strongly say to people do not do that as you do not know any preexisting conditions a person may have. Also If you are to use physical restraint / Force ALWAYS keep yourself in control of what is happening to the other person. * civilian matters note. That attack on him then could have seriously damaged him there was no control of the body, his head could have smacked into the ground. - it can take very little to do permanent damage to a person and also risk of long term effects possibly life long effects that are not apparent at the time.
A lot of gas is used there and very concerning. Limited visibility.
If I was security in that situation I would consider myself compromised by other people in the team. Not a good look, if anybody is going into security, look at that and take note do not get involved in actions as that. Train and educate yourself to handle a team / situation much better.
Very badly done.
3rd : its a news report.
I know people are going to defend ICE.
I am stating that is not the way to handle things especially in a democracy.
Okay, now consider the massive benefit from preventing illegals from voting.
