I wouldn't say there's a noticable improvement. It's only really worth paying if the paid scheme gets you some kind of feature you wouldn't otherwise have. Right now I am paying for copilot pro because copilot pro can read your documents as long as they're MS office (though not reliably) and none of the other LLMs could do that for me. You'd upload documents to them and then they'd just hallucinate wildly, which if you didn't already mostly know the contents of the document you might not even notice.

I don't pay for any subscriptions although I would have considered paying for Museland but they didn't even give us the option and now they shut down.

A friend of mine paid for Suno, so now if we want to use anything he generated commercially we won't have to dispute Suno - although most of the stuff it makes won't be worth using unless you know exactly the right avant garde buttons to press in order to get it to output something truly unique and interesting.
