Audiophiles Speak Up
Hello Everyone. I am a Audiophile, and I am curious as to what you use for your primary gaming Audio. I just picked up the Dan Clark Noire X, with a Modmic wireless for my "Headset". The headphones are powered by the FiiO K11.

Samson SR850 through the headphone jack on my laptop and a AT2020USB condenser mic i bought forever ago used off of craigslist.

i have tinnitus and idc anymore.
Usually lectures or audio books in the background using whatever speakers are built in and headphones.
Headphones cost about 4 quid had them over a year probably multiple years.
im not a full fledged audiophile, nor do I use it for gaming but my current most used kit is a simple Eversolo Gen 2 A6 and an Eversolo F2 Poweramp combo through 1970s Celestion Speaker boxes upgraded to 200watts (from original 30watt).

I've also as a seperate unit run a 80/90s Technics Seperates and B&O reconditioned Amp with a Dual 505 (original not remake) turntable.

There's a pair of floor standing Wilkins & Bowers speakers im currently eyeing up as well but not sure if I really want/need them.

also have the SR850, a must-have for the budget audiophile. Also swap between the HE400SE for planar goodness and the venerable JVC HARX700 for closed-back bass-pounding goodness.

cheap SB Play!3 works great for movies and games. all sound equally well when mated to my Onkyo AVR for late-night watching...

I run everything through the sound card in my DJM450. I use a pair of ATH-M50x to listen with.
I use a real sub and bass, like a man. Not a little headset I put around my ears to quiet myself for others.

i bet the homies in voice chat love you
And what's the point of that? If I eat with golden cutlery, will I become a gourmet?
It sounds more like showing off than a real topic for a forum.
All the audio is adapted for regular devices, with a 48Hz resolution.
That's exactly why there's no point in using 'a sniper scope to hit a glass from three meters away.
amplifier and dac outside PC chassis , and ear plug,
if someday they managed to produce small Watts speakers with sound quality on with ear plug, I may switch to those.

Most audiophile, like most other enthusiast circles, is based on a circulation of complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rife with confirmation bias and buyer's remorse resulting in pushing products on others so they themselves won't feel like they were ripped off by buying into it.

Reminds me about skit on the Howard Stern show, some girl in a bikini was straddling a subwoofer while Howard was motorboating into the mic...
