Headphones cost about 4 quid had them over a year probably multiple years.
I've also as a seperate unit run a 80/90s Technics Seperates and B&O reconditioned Amp with a Dual 505 (original not remake) turntable.
There's a pair of floor standing Wilkins & Bowers speakers im currently eyeing up as well but not sure if I really want/need them.
God im glad to be satisfied with such things.
cheap SB Play!3 works great for movies and games. all sound equally well when mated to my Onkyo AVR for late-night watching...

That's exactly why there's no point in using 'a sniper scope to hit a glass from three meters away.
if someday they managed to produce small Watts speakers with sound quality on with ear plug, I may switch to those.
