I remember a guy starting a war with multiple countries, had a funny moustache.
The Pentagon literally has an entire department that is dedicated entirely to draw up plans for wars with other nations; not just the potentially hostile ones but literally every nation in the globe.
And it has been doing that particular job since the Pentagon itself was even buiilt.
During the 20s and the 30s, the Joint Planning Committee (which would later become the Joint Chiefs of Staff) developed the so-called color coded war plans.
Some of them were reasonable, such as War Plan Black for a possible war with Germany, or War Plan Orange, for war with Japan.
Others were quite outlandish, like War Plan Red, for war against the British Empire, or Yellow, to face a repeat of the Boxer Uprising and planning to join forces with Chinese Imperial forces to suppress discontent in China.
Others were completely ludicrous, like Red-Orange, which was developed to face the possibility of having to fight Japan and the British Empire at the same time.
And those included a whole set of plans for intervention in the Americas.
But of course, Trump did it, then it must be bad.
Remind us which US presidents in that time period openly advocated for invasions / wars against US allies?
