I don't think the movies thing holds much water, film is definitely much the same as it has been, older movies just feel more novel to someone so young, perhaps, but hollywood is hit or miss as always, with tons of interesting films releasing all the time, if you keep your eyes open
like now it seems like they do it things based on idk how to put it? like they follow a script there is no fun or soul
