Cause it's so terrible you DON'T want to play it.
Which could strike fear onto anyone who just wanted to have a fun time for October.
Causing a playing a horror game for fun is fun.
But playing a terrible game against your own will is torture that no one wants to deal with.
Shadowman actually has a remaster on steam and is currently discounted. This is probably the best way to play it if you're interested.
EDIT: Gex just had that one spooky level. My mistake
Read the book first. Only watch the movie if you really, really want to. It screws up the ending.
The game is more action than horror, IMO.
RE1 RE2
SH1
Nightmare Creatures
Parasite Eve
Fatal Frame
Thrill Kill
Kings Field
Clock Tower
Alone in the Dark
Tecmo's Deception
Thats what i remember off the top of my head
Not exactly horror I don't think, but it was the only ps1 game to spook me (granted i was practically a newborn, but still)
