I'm not transphobic
Idk why a bunch of people (none of whom are trans btw) have this weird belief that I'm a massive transphobe, they use it to block any meaningful discussion.

How tf am I transphobic? I have trans friends, trans family, hell even I'm trans probably, yet the haters come at me with pitchforks and fail to see reason, only hate....

I cant understand why *anyone* would be trandphobic, its such a weird thing to focus on, considering all the other stuff we *should* be yelling about.

When people resort to calling others racist, homophobic, transphobic etc...it's most often because they have difficulty disputing something truthful that was said and they want to end the discussion.

Well do you personally identify as transphobic?

Like I said it hits my ears like a compliment, it's like a leprosy sufferer making fun of someone's smooth skin.

I think calling "cishet" a slur would be at least one reason why based on a previous comment I saw you make.

Saying that cisgender and heterosexual or the combination of the two words into cishet would be similar to saying that "white man" is a slur. The term isn't usually used as an epithet in any respect, and most cisgender and heterosexual people have no problem with the word.
"I'm not transphobic"
Well there's always time.
Why do I have a feeling this thread will take a sharp turn and attracts all kind of edgelords.

AAAAAANYWAY. I have no opinion on this, I barely interacted with OP if at all.
Why would you be?
They're hardly scary.
The concept doesn't exist, its rhetorical frame, no one is scared, they have disagreements with the agenda.

and of course the technology doesn't exist.

If it was a phobia (a fear)—as the word suggests—then it would have been just as respected as someone who has arachnophobia (a fear of spiders). Language used to have meaning…

Context matters and I've only ever seen cishet used in an exclusionary or blaming way, "cishets wouldn't understand" and never in a positive or neutral way.
But is this really a debate? it seems more like a blog post.
Because similar to other forms of science denial, the overwhelming majority of the backlash against the very existence of trans people comes from a place of ignorance and outdated ideas about society.

Trying to get someone cancelled for being transphobic when the person they're cancelling is trans is just pathetic.
