If you wish to delete your entire account, along with all the games on it (you don't get any money back and have to re-buy them), then you need to e-mail support with your request.

While you're waiting for Valve to delete your steam account try wasting some time in those 10 games your account owns. It just might change your mind.
Then again you have ban(s) on your profile. Try not to install cheating programs in your next life. Good luck and have fun.

He probably does not want it because he is VAC banned. I don't think support will delete an account, especially if it is VAC banned.

Porque quieres borrar la cuenta?
Si cancelas la cuenta perderas todos los juegos que contenga.

They will delete an account, but he won't get anything back from it, and the will require some proof of ownership before they do it.

They will keep the bans on file for those keys though, and the account name won't be usable.

This is just an educated guess based on other sites though. Either way, Support is who he needs to contact and they will set him strait if they can't do it.

Ok, more research (you are right ChrisW):

Was my Steam account deleted?

Only inactive accounts containing no games are deleted. Accounts cannot be deleted by request.

Glad they won't delete accounts, especially those with bans on record.

But you have the right to terminate your account through the SSA, surely?

Don't know. The OP will have to contact support to find out. That was all the solid information I could find.

"B. Termination by You.

You may cancel your Account at any time. You may cease use of a Subscription at any time or, if you choose, you may request that we terminate your access to a Subscription. However, Subscriptions are not transferable, and even if your access to a Subscription for a particular game or application is terminated, the original activation key will not be able to be registered to any other account, even if the game or application was purchased in a retail store. Access to Subscriptions purchased as a part of a pack or bundle cannot be terminated individually, termination of access to one game within the bundle will result in termination of access to all games purchased in the pack will be removed from the account. Your cancellation of an Account, or your cessation of use of any Subscription or request that access to a Subscription be terminated, will not entitle you to any refund, including of any Subscription fees. Valve reserves the right to collect fees, surcharges or costs incurred prior to the cancellation of your Account or termination of your access to a particular Subscription. In addition, you are responsible for any charges incurred to third-party vendors or content providers before your cancellation."

Cancel and delete are two diffrent things. You can cancel/terminate your account and lose access to it, it will still be there though.

Accounts can not be deleted by request.

I hate legal documents. They claim it is to eliminate miss-understandings and allow for one interpretation, but it seems to do the opposite most the time.

Only Support will be able to say with certainty. It isn't ment for you or me to fully understand.
