Source Engine games crashing on launch
i've tried playing L4D2 and SFM but both games crash upon hitting start. TF2 doesn't have this issue.
i've tried alot of things including reinstalling multiple times, unsubscribing everything from the workshop, updates, and even the fastprox trick, but nothing works.
please steam support, you're my only hope.

I see that you already have 50 hours played in L4D2, if it was me, I would be looking at what has changed on my PC since I last played, it could be a new driver update, new software added that's causing a conflict, new setting change, etc.
