Need more specifics? No one knows. Valve could be working on it, they could be not. They won't tell us until it is done (if it is done).

I kind of get the feeling that HL3 will be a letdown. The game will be great, but there's no way in hell that it can live up to all those years and years of hype.

Yeah, it probably wont live to the hype. Thats a problem when people have been expecting a game for too long.

We tried, we were awesome in our own way to get valve to speak or say anything about HL2Ep3/HL3(I heard the group itself was on the news...somewhere)... and then we lost our momentum.

Info and/or the game will only happen when Valve considers it ready. It seems nobody can even find out if they're even working on it(point of the group). You'll just have to wait now, like everybody else.
