How do I get in direct contact with a specific Moderator?
So I'm having the weirdest issue right now - or rather someone else is having the weirdest issue that involves an account that looks EXACTLY like mine.

Another user recently had a market item purchased for $218, but he never received payment for it. His market page says I was the one who purchased it, and he even has screenshots to prove it.
(I never use the market to purchase anything other than trading cards, and my market history says my most recent purchase was "November" so uh, I'm guessing it's been about a year since I even used the market)

Naturally he did the sensible thing and reported my account to Steam Support, and got a reply saying said account was currently under a 24-hour ban and facing possible permanent suspension.

I, however, have received no such notification - and I'm pretty sure the fact that I'm posting here is a pretty solid indication that I haven't been banned.

I've been in chat with the user who's been having issues and he was super helpful and gave me a bunch of codes and the name of the mod who's responsible for his ticket, but I have no clue where to actually use that stuff since I've never received any notification that my account is under review :P

I'm in full agreement with the other posts, it will lead to a scam.

The screenshot I was shared said "For appeal purposes, please contact the moderator responsible for this report" - I'm trying to get in contact with said moderator to figure out what's going on.

Well, I didn't think it was a phishing attempt, because he told me to contact Steam using Steam Support and not some third-party platform.
Honestly if this is a scam, it's a really piss-poor one - he hasn't asked me for any information or provided any external links, he just wanted to know if I was the one who made the purchase or not.

it's either going to be:
1. check the ticket status in this steamsupportypo link (oops, you need to log in...)
2. hello i am the very valid moderator contacting you out of the blue and i have, what a coincidence, the same ticket numbers this other guy has been feeding you, please send me your valuables

That's just the first part of the scam, it keeps going until you start getting links to "fix the problem" or "correct a misunderstanding" of some sort.

Thanks guys :D

I've been acting super chill in the chat, saying I'm sure that the steam mods will be able to figure out the issue, since obviously I haven't made any purchases - I'm just gonna tell this guy that I'll let the mods handle it.
