Hard to choose, choice paralysis
I am currently trying to recover from gaming burnout but finding it hard to choose what games to play, I have way too many to choose from, over 700 just on steam then I have thousands in all other places. Anybody else suffer with choosing.

Wish Steam would implement a randomiser or dice so as to choose next game to play.

I thought Netflix and youtube were bad for choosing on, or is it just mind rot from all the short slop vids i end up watching.

Feel like my attention span has been severely affected by video shorts over the past year.

Install augmented steam and it has a play random game button
Or maybe you just need a break from digital devices. Playing games 24/7 is a good way to burn yourself out.

Not much else to do these days, I work a 4 on 4 off pattern, on work days i am out of the house for nearly 16 hours, I am starting to recover from burnout just choice issues with regards of what to play, i spend most of the time trying to choose a game then when i finally do I can't be bothered lol.

Or Playnite, add steam library and press random game.
Try L4D2, a great co-op game that you haven't played yet. Others that are worth a play through from your games, Alien Isolation, Metro Exodus, Zombie Army Trilogy and Sniper Elite 3, hardly played.

Failing that, take advantage of the current sale on with the Fallout games, they are huge and will take up a lot of your time, plenty to explore.
yeah, i'll give them a shot, I made the mistake of installing everything instead of just a few to concentrate on, a lot of games I have not even been loaded yet. Buying powerwash sim 2 in a bit when it launches as that I will play, but I am going to shrink my installed collection down and only have a max of 10 installed to play and remove once finished.

Steam sales are a massive trap for me as I just cannot help myself when there are steep discounts.
I've reorganised my library a while back. I literally went through my backlog, cutting it up in priorities. I now work from that, have been blasting at my backlog. It works for me, a random button would never work for me.

find what works for you. Try different things.!!

Nothing wrong with that, a lot of people wait for the sales, speaking of which, I see you also own Fury Unleashed, that's a game I recently picked up, and once I drag myself away from Fallout 4 (must resist!), I'm looking forward to playing that, I've only played the tutorial so far, but the controls are perfect, smooth and precise, maybe give that a try.
will do, ill install it and try that out next days off. thinking of having 2 multiplayer games to chill on, a story game, indy game and a racing game on the go so forza horizon 4 i want to complete. does not help that I have also got VR games to play haha.
If you have never tried it, I'll highly recommend it, I thoroughly enjoyed it, it's also co-op or PvP, so if a Steam friend owns it, you can both play together, the game is fast and very big, if you like a challenge, try exploring at night! Make sure you're well-armed or be prepared to run

I fixed this by forcing severe limitations on myself for a time period. For a month, I limited myself to only be able to play my Gameboy Advance with a selection of only four games to choose from. If I didn't feel like playing any of them, I didn't. I went for a walk or something. Basically I was trying to replicate the kind of limited gaming environment I had when I was a kid, and I only had my NES or my SNES plus a handful of games, and any new games to play were usually something I got around my birthday or Christmas.

After that month, I feel like I appreciated my 2,000+ game Steam library a bit more.
Try another hobby like Lego building or Hotwheels racing for a change.

Not joking, just check out whats going on on Youtube regarding those above.
