I had a good chuckle.

The fact that people took a vid - that's part of a comedy series - so seriously they actually made a whole mod from scratch to "Exploit!" it...is bloody brillant.

I don't understand why would anyone buy Starbound for that exact purpose. One could run for 30 min any game with many achievements unlocked in the past, which would give like 10k points pool.

90% of the people have no idea how this event works and only watched the first 3 min of the video that stated "buy game, install mod, infinite points for dirt!"

People were very confused about the whole Max Points Cap thing. They believed it would be an easy way to get an infinite amount of tokens to trade in for an unlimited amount of $5 discounts. They actually thought Valve would leave a backdoor that wide just open.

Now loads of people own a game they didn't really want, a truckload of fake soda and no discount.

I finally bloody started playing the game earlier this week.

Now profile checkers are gonna think I’m stupidly exploit-hunting!

I only had three (three!) soda!

I can’t even burn off nearly all the achievement-points I’ve on offer.

Yay! Something good is coming from all of this! Gamers playing games!

I saw that TF2 was doing quests and I hadn't played that in a hot minute, so I ended up reinstalling that myself. I was surprised to see how many people were playing.

People can say what they want about this sale, but I've been enjoying it despite all the weirdness. Especially considering I'm Team Oinker!

I'm weird....enjoying it as well. I also loaded up Stardew Valley which I haven't played since it launched.

Also, I got to be part of a terrible drinking game, met some cool new steam people and got to support my tortoise boys in green. Not a bad way to spend a sale.

i got vampire masqurade bloodlines 2 out of it
