Despite the sound effect bugs the game is pretty good, funny ass story with many crazy missions which some of them might be repetetive for some people but not really for me. As someone who gives a lot of effort into characters I made (like I do with my Sims in The Sims 4) I wish there were more outfit options. Same with vehicles, I wish there were more customization options. Another complaint is that there is no fast travel It would make going from location to location easier.

Honestly a pretty mid re-master:
The good:
- Generally prettier
- Tire tread options feel like they actually change the wheels a lot more
- Almost all of the DLC built in

The bad:
- New car models are higher quality but much less original, feels like they just ripped some models from GTA
- Some vehicle variants seem to be missing entierly
- Overuse of TAA (the worst type of anti-aliasing) makes the game look like it has fairly significant and indiscriminate depth of field turned on even when DoF is turned off.
- NPCs were updated but the player model was not making it look out of place (seriously just subdivide the mesh so the morphers come out smoother)
- Certain scripted sections where you're supposed to have renewable sources of ammo just have a single pickup making them much harder if you didn't grind out upgrades beforehand.

Constant bugs, engine is trash, driving is awful, game constantly makes u do the side activities which are literally NOT FUN. 15 hours of fillers for story. Remaster only breaks the game more, constant black screens, fps locks to 60 even tho its uncapped and etc etc.

Game won't work with xbox one controller. This is really basic, minimum expectations here. Don't bother.

My current pc takes one look at top system requirements and ♥♥♥♥♥ a leg to pee on it. can handle them twice over easily.
game loads fast, just like original. even auto detecting in-game chooses top settings. and yet....
saints row 3 hit start new game, play starts within seconds.
saints row 4 hit start new game, play starts within seconds
saints row gat out of hell hit start new game, play starts within seconds
saints row 3 remastered hit start new game and sit watching new pretty images of characters you will never see in game as that is all it does. 15 minutes of pretty images and several retries on lower-lowest settings and still nothing happens beyond a new slideshow. loading...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................is not worth any purchase price
