Is rotation optional?

A friend said that the 800 pieces are smaller than the 400, I'd like to buy this but as I thought the 400 pieces were fiddly and small for me I know I couldn't pick up any smaller than that. I know as this is a bigger puzzle somehow you have to fit in all the pieces but I was wondering if there was any way to change the size of the main playing board for the 800 or make the pieces the same size as 400 and go smaller when they finally snap in the right place on the board. I'm just trying to think of ways ...

Can you use your own pictures?

If I select 'Quit to desktop' while playing a puzzle my screen goes black and I can't even use Ctrl-Alt-Delete to get it back. If I have music playing it will continue, so my PC doesn't crash. It's really weird and doesn't happen if I exit the puzzle first and use Esc to leave the program....
