Will this game fall prey to Epic as an exclusive?

I am going to get it on switch since it is on sale at the moment, but i hear it is dead on both PC and Switch? Sad because it seems the devs put quite a bit of work into it after the initial switch launch? Can anyone give some details? Basically the game is only for bot play or local play since online is dead? How are the bots? is there splitscreen?...

I bought this game on the nintendo switch on the day when it was released. It was pretty bad back then. Optimization was bad, balancing was bad, map design left alot to be desired and i encountered many bugs and glitches. Premise and artstyle are pretty unique just be careful when buying this game. ...

Since I got the beta I haven't been able to play becuse not matter what I do, it never downloads the exe file.
