Corpse party 2 is coming this fall and they said it was going to be on steam so why dont i see it on here?

It's been two years with no updates, and Gabby is still saying the game is coming! Hi Gabby. The game is dead.

This game's story is being remade with a heavily upgraded graphical style and new gameplay under the title "Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion" and it's supposed to be releasing this fall. From the trailer it looks like the same protagonist and setting from Dead Patient remixed into a new version of the story....

I didn't buy DP as I innocently thought I'd get it when it's finished but I no longer think so because of DD. I'm not buying DD until I see some actual gameplay and some reviews on it. However, since there were claims that the devs have abandoned DP for DD it makes me wonder if DP will be removed from Steam. Is my concern warranted or am I just paranoid? Also should I buy DP just to own a sample of what could have been?...
