I can't play on steam deck and have tried with other proton versions There is not answer from arc system support :(

Had to play this game when it came out on Switch since it didn't release on Xbox, ended up buying it on sale on Steam a long while ago. It NEARLY works perfectly on the Steam deck, the game boots up, menus work, and you can watch cutscenes without issue, but anytime any gameplay starts it crashes within 1-6 seconds. It seems to need some kind of fix, does anyone know anything? I've looked around at what feels like everywhere....

I was thinking about picking up the game now that is on sale but I can't bring myself to do it as I've already refound it once when it came out due to how boring it was but now I've seen that there's a fan made patch that makes it more playable/fun? From what I've seen it seem to change frame data, and moves and their interactions... but does it remove the RPS minigame and other regular arena fighter problems? Also hows the online? (i know is prob dead but does it run fine if I were to find ppl to play ...
