Most people usually refers to God Eater as Anime Monster Hunter, because it shares some aspect with it but differs a bit as it has a more fast-paced combat and anime visual. I've played God Eater 1 and 2 on the PSP before, and I agree to that statement. However, I think with God Eater 3, the combat has become too fast. The monsters have too little HP that a quest may only take about 3-5 minutes. So there was this scary monster that was shown to you, it's a new monster that has never been in any of the previous games, and in the cutscene it seemed strong, but then you went to fight with it and it took 3 minutes to beat it lol. Honestly, the weapon choice and the burst art really improved the combat, but...it didn't make up for it overall. Yeah, you can argue that, if I felt the quests were too easy, then I can just solo all of the quests instead of bringing my whole team, but then that implies my argument is true. In the previous games, it was not like this, even when you brought a full party, you would still feel a tad bit intimidated and challenged when fighting with large aragamis. Maybe it will become better and harder deeper into the game, but I'm on rank 4 right now and I don't feel like continuing. For anyone who wants to play God Eater, I recommend the first 2 games more than this.

good game but the region lock multiplayer sucks balls and can't do anything or looking for players to do the mission sad day

Coming off the back of GE1 and 2, I find it hard to recommend this. Comparatively, the plot is feeble, and the world building feels like it largely ignores the development of the prior games in the series. It could feasibly just be a totally different setting. I find it difficult to care about any of the companions or their stories. There's a distinct lack of wide, open spaces to fight the big monsters, so the camera's constantly getting stuck at awful angles, especially on a controller. It's also way faster than the prior games, which makes a chunk of the skill developed in the prior games much less useful. Not totally useless, but nowhere near the utility going from 1 to 2. Skills are totally reworked and overall substantially less flexible, so many of the historic game styles just don't exist anymore.
It's not all doom and gloom. The burst arts introduced in GE 2 are much more flexible, and the game looks much prettier. There are two new weapons, which are cool. There's a new resonance ability you can trigger after a time for buffs for you and your squad. There are definitely a couple of things from a gameplay perspective which are much better.

In short, I'd give this a miss and do one of the earlier ones instead.
